Ring Resizing

Please read the below carefully, to help establish if resizing is a good idea.

Proper Ring Fit: Your ring should slide on easily and require 1-3 wiggles over the knuckle to remove. Depending on finger shape and the season, your ring may or may not make an indentation - both are normal. Your ring size will fluctuate up to 1/2 a size depending on the temperature, sodium intake, altitude ect. Many people notice more of a finger indentation during the warmer months.

Above all is your personal preference; some people like a tight fit and others like a loose fit. This is why it's so important to wear your ring for at least 1-2 weeks before resizing, unless it's far too large/small.

Before resizing, here are a few things to keep in mind:

Your ring will feel looser when you're cold and tighter when you're hot. Resizing a new ring in the winter if it's just a LITTLE loose / or in the summer if it's a little tight is not recommended.
It's advisable to wear a new ring for at least one week to assess the fit before resizing.
It's best to resize a ring as few times as possible in the lifetime of the ring. Multiple resizings may affect your ring's structural integrity.
If the ring is far too loose, refrain from wearing or get a gel ring sizer until it's been resized.
If the ring fits well on some days, and is too loose on other days, a gel sizer is a great option (instead of resizing your ring).

Is Resizing Normal? Yes. Many people require a size adjustment, even if they’ve previously checked their ring size.

How much can my ring be resized? As a general guide, rings with stones set on the band, bezels, thick, or unique band shapes can often be safely resized a maximum of a 1/2 size larger or smaller. Rings with plain bands can often be safely resized a maximum of 1 size larger or smaller. Bands over 3mm include a complimentary resizing up to 1/2 size. If your ring is eligible for a complimentary resizing, it must fall within the above guidelines.

How much does resizing cost? One complimentary resizing is offered within six months of purchase for all plain, untextured gold engagement and wedding rings (not applicable for platinum, rings with textured finishes, edging/bevels, engraving, surface plating, or hidden gemstones). Pricing for resizes outside of the above will be calculated and provided via email following your ring drop off.

Resizing takes 7-10 business days. *If you are servicing your ring(s) before an event (ie. your wedding, shower, photoshoot), your drop-off meeting must be at least 30 days before your event.*
